Traveling to a new place comes with its fair share of challenges but speaking of my maiden trip to Scandinavia, I had a whole new experience throughout the journey from getting my flight to Stockholm Arlanda Airport to finding proper transportation means from the airport which made my maneuvering so easy upon landing.

Scandinavia has been on my bucket list for such a long time and when I finally decided on visiting the place, I had to think of travel arrangements which in most cases is everyone’s hustle. EasyJet Holidays was definitely my choice after a recommendation from a friend two years ago and so many positive reviews about them that I got online. EasyJet Holidays is one of those flights that offer the best packages and is a good deal when it comes to convenience and getting cheap flights.

When I first made my trip from the UK to Scandinavia, my flight was properly arranged as expected and landed safely at the airport. I opted for a car rental which was really fascinating and Europcar came in handy. I managed to get the best rates from them and their exclusive package was more than I bargained from. They have different car models at your disposal when it comes to the kind of trip or occasion attending and pick-up facilities. Europcar was helpful in making my maiden trip a success and the adventure was lit up by the convenience of traveling.

Must go-to places in Scandinavia

Koli National Park, Finland

This national park is one of a kind when it comes to its landscapes that are stunning and inspiring. The park was voted as the best hiking region in Finland back in 2013 thanks to its amazing views of moss-covered forests and exotic waterfalls.

You can take a drift up Ukko-Koli Hill, and upon reaching the summit that is over three hundred and fifty meters above sea level, you will find the most exotic view of Finland that happens to be the Panorama of Lake Pielinen.

Preikestolen, Norway

The Preikestolen, also known as Pulpit Rock is one of the most popular viewpoints in Norway. The flat-topped cliff that looms on the blue waters of the Lysefjord below is estimated to be two thousand feet high giving you a spectacular view for taking pictures and giving you a serious adrenaline rush.

Löyly Sauna, Finland

The Löyly Sauna located in Helsinki, Finland’s capital is worth a trial when it comes to finding adventure and tranquility. Although it’s quite easy to find a sauna in any part of the country, their’s is one you can’t afford to miss. With its stylish and stunning waterfront, the installation carried out embraces the baltic. Besides enjoying a traditional smoke sauna with a dip in the sea, a classy restaurant sits at the sauna giving you a variety of meals.

Conclusion

Scandinavia is home to the world’s most fascinating landscapes and if such exotic places mentioned above sounds like a perfect getaway or a dream destination, its time you added that to your bucket list and find the hundreds of destinations Scandinavia has to offer.
