No doubt all Android users have ever had to go through the Google Play Store application store and find a sea of ’apps’ competing for a space on the mobile device. At first glance, the store could seem quite simple.
Users search and download applications, but the Google store, installed by default on Android devices, has many more features.
Next, know four things you can do in the app store that you may not have known:
1. Download applications from the computer
If you wish, you can install applications from the Google Play Store for your mobile device from your computer. Just enter the website of the platform with your user (Gmail account) and select the application you want. Then click on the install button and select the device to which you will direct the download.
2. Did you change your mobile device and want to recover your apps?
You do not have to make memory trying to remember what applications you had before on your old device. In addition to Bluetooth pairing options that have multiple devices, you can choose to recover them from the app store. In your account are stored the usage data and the history of the applications that you have had over time.
Go to the menu options, then ‘My apps and games’ and in the ‘Library’ section all the applications that you have ever used with that user will be displayed. There you can find the option to download them again on another device.
3. Activate the parental control of applications on your children’s cell phones
Within the sea of ’apps’ found in the Google Play Store, there are no age restrictions unless you activate them. The store has the option for you to control which content can be downloaded or purchased according to the child’s maturity.
Open the app store and go to the menu. In configuration, you will find the option ‘Parental controls’. Activate it, create a security PIN and select the type of content you want to filter.
4. Access to Beta Play Store
Finally, if you are one of those people who want to be aware of the latest games and releases of ‘apps’, you can get ahead of your contacts and get advance access to future applications, because Beta Play Store will allow you to use trial versions of applications before they go on the market.
Open the Play Store, look for the ‘early access’ link at the end of ‘Hit lists’ and ‘Games’. Then, look for an application that you would like to have in the trial version and press install.
